Guild Changes... I sent a notice in the in-game mail tonight about changes I've made to the guild (yeah, I'm GM again).  I've implemented an officer ranks consisting of our founding members.  These people have my authority, and also are the only ones that can invite, promote, demote, kick and withdraw large sums from the GB.  Our guild started off initially with just 3 people, I had to bribe strangers to get enough signatures on the charter.  We are a large extended family now and need a bit of order, just like any other large organization.

I expect the officers to uphold this order, and also for all of our members to listen to the officers.  I've put all of the officer's mains into a rank, and then all of their alts scattered throughout the upper ranks.   Basically, Sporkweilder, Donuteater and Whiners are our members, everyone above Sporkweilder are officers.

Also, due to the influx of new players we have, several of them need help with lower level dungeons, we don't have enough lower levels of people to get groups of 5 for the dungeons, so our officers have agreed to schedule lower level dungeons for run throughs and help on the quests.  We ask any member wanting help to email us on the mailing list (awty@googlegroups.com ask wokka or antha for an invite) and someone will volunteer and schedule it.  Alts are welcome to do this as well.  We ask that you have any quests ready to go before the dungeon, unless its a group quest and you need help with that as well, but otherwise be ready to go.

The reason for this setup is that when an 80 logs in, he or she does not want to be bombarded with requests.  We are here to have fun and relax, and while we don't mind helping, it's not what we want to do 100% of our time.
